3 de ene. de 2022 · The Cider House Rules brengt in feite niets nieuws onder de zon en daardoor is het naar mijn mening ook geen film die je absoluut gezien moet hebben. Daar staat wel een kalm en dus aangename speelfilm tegenover. Hallström weet, zoals ik onderhand van hem gewend ben, het verhaal weer keurig in beeld te brengen. 3*
