It is wide open, free blowing and does not strain the injury so much, not simply that its his mpc of choice for tone. Thats the story I got.

10 de feb. de 2008 · I saw Mike in Tokyo in '89 with some friends. My buddy was playing his own Otto Link. Brecker saw his mouthpiece and said, "Man, you're 'Linking.' I wish I could play that piece again. I just can't now." My take on his comment is that he preferred his sound when playing a Link over any other piece at that time. Damn, I miss that guy.
