A mi no me parece mal tu opción, aunque la de Miguellio tampoco està mal. La de él es más literal, y la tuya recuerda más el "Buen Viaje". Por lo tanto, me parecen correctas, sobre todo la segunda. Eso si, "Buena" no "buen".

17 de dic. de 2018 · Senior Member. We wouldn't say either, I'm afraid. We would say "I wish you a happy trip" or "I wish you a happy journey". We usually use "travel" as an uncountable noun, in which case it cannot be preceded by "a". We don't say "a travel (l)ing" if we intend "travel (l)ing" to be a noun. ADDED: "Have a good trip/journey" is another possibility.
