Sergio Leone is linked to one of my earliest and most precious memories as a viewer. I was at elementary school and one day my father put the cassette of Il buono, il brutto, il cattivo in the VCR. I was bowled over. That was the day on which cinema changed from being a means of entertainment for a child into a true passion for me.
3 de may. de 2019 · Sergio Leone’s first film, technically he directed The Last Days of Pompeii (1959) but that was as a backup since the original director became sick during the first day of shooting. This is his true directorial debut and it’s definitely a far lesser film than what is to come but it is not all bad. This is a flawed film no doubt.
