We will be in Washington dc in July. I would like to walk around Georgetown for a couple hours in the late evening when the temperature cools down to look at some of the sights like the canal, the waterfront park and the old homes. Would the late evening (about 8-10pm) be a safe time to walk around those areas of Georgetown?
