Peterhouse has a strong tradition in Engineering, with notable alumni including Babbage, Kelvin, Whittle and Cockerell. Although undergraduate work is centred around the University Engineering Department, which is next door to Peterhouse on Trumpington Street, College teaching is also significant.

the m.c.r. All graduate students in Peterhouse are members of the College’s graduate society, known as the M.C.R. Members are given a key to and a pigeonhole in the common room (the ‘Middle Combination Room’ after which the society is named) on arrival and can take part in the numerous graduate social events held in college.
Welcome to Peterhouse School Welcome to the Peterhouse website. We are a non-maintained Specialist School for children and young people aged 5 to 19 who have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Condition. Our mission for our pupils to leave us with the skills, knowledge and understanding they need to be successful autistic adults.
Our primary role, as the English Fellows at Peterhouse, is to guide and advise our students as they pursue a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to immerse themselves in books and reflect on the endless questions which the written word poses. There are no limits to this canvas. The whole history of human feeling is yours to study.
