16 de ago. de 2020 · Backdraft is almost an all-out classic; a thoroughly entertaining firefighting feature which blends thriller and disaster movie elements with a decent, typically Ron Howard, through line of personal conflict. The all-star supporting cast are superb, it's just a shame William Baldwin still sticks out like a sore thumb here.
16 de ago. de 2020 · Lets pretend all other reviews don't take don't take into consideration picture and sound quality. A score of 8 for the movie is high compared to others. That is one issue. Looking at the 4K release. This movie hasn't improved, all that has happened is that it has been release in a format for modern equipment.
16 de ago. de 2020 · the dolby x sound was bloody awesome. It sounded so great, because it's DTS :X. Having DTS :X has influenced my decision to buy many times, & also DTS- HD on a UHD blu-ray has influenced my decision NOT to buy even more times. Released to great critical acclaim back in 1991, this movie turned out two magnificent performances from Sir Anthony Hopkins and Jodie Foster.
28 de feb. de 2005 · For a film about dealing with forest fires, it doesn't have the spectacular set pieces of something like Backdraft, but instead chooses to concentrate on the more practical side of the proceedings. Josh Brolin is fine in the lead, but it's Jennifer Connelly that really adds some gravitas.
9 de ene. de 2019 · The most common reason for discs not loading is that the firmware needs updating for the new features on the disc. Also if the disc is BD-Live compatible you will need to ensure that an SD card 1GB or larger is inserted in the unit before loading the disc. If no card is inserted the disc may not load correctly.
