The Gang of Four are the four authors of the book, "Design Patterns: Elements of Reusable Object-Oriented Software". In this article their twenty-three design patterns are described with links to UML diagrams, source code and real-world examples for each.
I Gang of Four sono stati un gruppo post punk britannico, formatosi a Leeds nel 1976.. La Gang of Four era inizialmente formata dal cantante Jon King, dal chitarrista Andy Gill, dal bassista Dave Allen e dal batterista Hugo Burnham.In attività dal 1977 al 1984, si sono riformati due volte negli anni novanta con King e Gill. Nel 2004 sono tornati anche Allen e Burnham.
Gang Of Four. English post-punk group from Leeds, formed in 1976. Dave Allen (5) left shortly after 'Solid Gold' was released and was replaced by Sara Lee. After the third album Hugo Burnham also left and was replaced by programmed drums. In 1984 the band broke up until 1990 when King and Gill started working together again intermittently.

In technology circles, you’ll often see this nicknamed shorted to GoF. Even though the GoF Design Patterns book was published over 20 years ago, it still continues to be an Amazon best seller.
Gang of Four is een Britse postpunkband, afkomstig uit Leeds. Commercieel was de Gang of Four nooit een groot succes, maar de band had wel een sterke invloed op andere groepen, zoals Red Hot Chili Peppers en op postpunkbands als The Rapture, Liars, Bloc Party en Franz Ferdinand.
