Early life. Collins was born the eldest of five siblings in Seattle, Washington, where she spent the first ten years of her life.Her father (a blind singer, pianist, and radio show host) took a job in Denver, Colorado in 1949 and the family moved there. Her grandfather was Irish. Collins contracted polio at the age of 11 and spent two months in isolation in a hospital.

Plot. The movie was filmed over the course of four festivals at Newport (1963-1966), and includes footage of Bob Dylan's controversial 1965 electric set at Newport.. Reception. In May 1972, at the end of a U.S. tour, he and fellow Crimson members Mel Collins and Boz Burrell left the band and went to work for Alexis Korner's Snape. Wallace subsequently worked with Steve Marriott's All-Stars and was invited to join Bob Dylan's band in 1978 and accompanied Dylan during his tour of Japan.
