She is a five-time World Cup overall champion (2017, 2018, 2019, 2022, and 2023), and in 2023 she surpassed Swedish skier Ingemar Stenmark’s record of 86 World Cup victories. In addition, Shiffrin has won three career Olympic medals (two gold and one silver).
