Nach sechs langen Jahren meldet sie sich mit ihrem brandneuen Album "Won't Be Long Now" zurück. Das Album wurde in England und in den USA mit vielen namhaften Gastmusikern aufgenommen. Es ist natürlich auch eine familiäre Angelegenheit, so singt sie ein Duett mit ihrem ex-Mann Richard und auch ihre Kinder Teddy und Kami sind dabei, genauso wie der Enkelsohn Zak Hobbs.
Won’t Be Long Now is Linda Thompson’s first album in six years and is a return to her folk roots and a bit of a family affair – featuring a duet with former husband Richard Thompson, regular contributions from their children Teddy and Kami, and grandson Zak Hobbs.

I’m ignoring the 1972-1982 duo as that’s a separate Toppermost. Linda Peters (as she was) started her career in 1968, recording with Paul McNeill with a cover of You Ain’t Goin’ Nowhere.
