Matthew Ryan Phillippe (* 10. září 1974 New Castle, Delaware) je americký herec, v letech 1999–2007 manžel herečky Reese Witherspoonové. První významnější vystoupení bylo v seriálu One Life to Live , kde ztvárnil roli homosexuála, jednoho z prvních v amerických mýdlových operách.
Ryan Phillippe nació el 10 de septiembre de 1974 en New Castle, Delaware. Su madre, Susan Thomas era enfermera; y su padre Richard Phillippe, un técnico químico. Tiene tres hermanas, Kirsten, Lindsay y Katelyn, y asistió a la Academia Bautista de New Castle. La carrera de actor de Ryan comenzó con la telenovela One Life to Live (1968).
