Kilkea National School (formally Scoil Náisiúnta Cill Cae) is a three-classroom school nestled in the beautiful south Kildare countryside. O riginally founded in 1863 in the old schoolhouse, the children moved up the road to a new two-classroom school in 19 50. The completion of works, including an extension, in June 2009 saw the school building expand to a 3-classroom building with GP Hall.
