At Ark Acton Academy we believe that every child, regardless of background or prior achievement, can be successful if given great teaching and pastoral support. Our mission is to create a school of the highest standard that achieves this through recruiting and training excellent teachers and support staff, and by developing a pastoral system that ensures no child is left behind.
At Ark Acton Academy pupils are assessed using the model – ME in PE which focuses on four key domains to becoming an all-round performer. These including the following – Physical ME, Social ME, Cognitive ME (Thinking) and Personal ME (Affective).

At Ark Acton we believe every pupil should have the opportunity to attain the English Baccalaureate. The EBacc is not a qualification but it is an indicator that an academic curriculum has been studied. Subjects within the EBacc group are considered essential to many degrees and open lots of doors for pupils’ future study and careers.
