  1. Martin Margiela. Director: Martin Margiela Spring Summer 2003. Belgian fashion designer famous for his eponymous fashion house in Paris. He grew up in Genk, the son of a Polish-born hairdresser, and graduated from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp in 1980. He worked as an assistant for Jean-Paul Gaultier in the 80s before launching his own fashion house, from which he retired in 2008.
