Sport. Sport is an integral part of life at Tower House and provides an incredibly valuable and rewarding experience for our boys. Experience shows that engaging in the wide variety of sports that we offer allows our boys to develop their essential physical and coordination ability as well as key life skills that go well beyond the playing field!
From Reception, everyone at Tower House is in The Bookmark Club! We make time every day to ensure the boys can read for pleasure and experience the simple joy of being lost in a book. Regular D.E.A.R (Drop Everything and Read) sessions occur throughout the school and we encourage opportunities for paired reading, time for Senior School boys to read with our younger boys from the Junior School.
Life in the classroom at Tower House is about stretch and challenge, curiosity and creativity, cementing foundations and broadening understanding. English and maths remain core to the curriculum with science, history, geography, French, RS, art and design, computer science, music and physical education adding to the weekly diet of academic subjects.
Tower House is renowned as the first Prep School ever to produce a full-length production quality feature film with our boys’ version of The Hobbit in 2012. Tower House, which is a small satellite of Cuckmere House School providing 16 places for young people in Key Stages 2 and 3, is Special provision for students who have a diagnosis of autism as their priority need, alongside additional needs such as social, emotional & mental health needs (SEMH).
