I sang along the way, jam sessions mostly. The South side of Chicago, Minneapolis, Madison, Billings, and Missoula were some of the places I found to sing the Blues ...
Kathi can sing like a sweet bird in flight and then BAM hits you with a ton of vocal POWER. She never got the recognition she deserved.I'm not going to compare her with anyone else as so many do. You just have to hear that voice.

Kathi Mcdonald was one of the all-time great female vocalists in rock,blues and R&B. She passed away yesterday, apparently slipped into a coma and never came out. She had an incredible resume, which you can see elsewhere, but there was a bit of a Canadian connection via Long John Baldry who toured with her for maybe 20 years.
