Tony Banks (2007) Anthony George (Tony) Banks (East Hoathly, Sussex, 27 maart 1950) is een Britse componist, pianist en toetsenist en het best bekend als een van de oprichters en leden van Genesis, een van Engelands bekendste progressieve-rockgroepen.Samen met gitarist-bassist Mike Rutherford is hij de enige die de gehele historie van Genesis in de band heeft gespeeld.

Tony Banks isn't really one to give out an introduction too. He got his start with Genesis being one of the founding members of the band, and had a small-ish solo career, plus a side project called Strictly Inc. with Jack Hues of Wang Chung. By the early 2000s he had shifted gears from Prog rock and pop music to go into a new direction.
