The highlights – Billy Porter , a revisited Stone Love (Soul Love) on the CD edition and a crisp take on Pure Prairie League’s Angel No. 9 are fine enough, but The Girl Can’t Help It and a warmed-up White Light/White Heat are surplus to requirements.

"X-Dreams" was released in 1978 so is from the same period as "Feels Good To Me". It features a number of musicians including Bull Bruford and Mick Ronson. Late in the day, I finally checked out "X-Dreams" on YouTube, I was impressed by the mix of rock and jazz. Peacock's vocal style is a mix of singing and semi-spoken.
