Roy Mitchell Kinnear (8 January 1934 – 20 September 1988) was a British actor. Kinnear was born in Wigan, Lancashire. He was known for his roles in movies directed by Richard Lester; including Algernon in The Beatles Help! (1965), Clapper in How I Won the War (1967) and Planchet in The Three Musketeers (1973).
Kinnear siguió trabajando con regularidad en el teatro, actuando en sus últimos años en producciones como The Travails of Sancho Panza (con el primer papel) o El jardín de los cerezos en 1985. 22 de mar. de 2024 · Tragically, Roy Kinnear's life was cut short in 1988 while filming the adventure-comedy movie The Return of the Musketeers. During a horse-riding scene, Kinnear fell from his mount sustaining a broken pelvis and internal bleeding. He was rushed to hospital in Madrid but died the following day from a heart attack. He was 54 years of age.
