Thorsten Quaeschning. Thorsten Quaeschning is a Berlin-based and classically trained musician and composer, has been a longtime member of Tangerine Dream since 2005, which makes him the second longest serving member in the band's history. In 2013, two years before Edgar Froese's death, he put him in charge as the Musical Director of the band.
