"Smokin' Aces" ist zwar ein durchgehend knallharter Actionfilm, bei dem mit Blut nicht gespart wurde, dennoch ist es schade, dass viele der (liebenswerten) Charaktere es nicht bis ans Ende des Films schaffen. Auch Star Ben Affleck ist schnell weg vom Fenster und es war, laut Aussage im Making-Of der DVD, sein 1.
