2 de jul. de 2012 · Welcome to the Space Show is a Japanese anime movie. Although (despite what some ignorant people will tell you) there are many such works which are targeted at an adult audience, with deep characterization, complex themes and the like, WttSS is most definitely a kids' film.
Welcome to The Space Show is an amazing example of world building in place of a story. The movie introduces a fantastical world full of vibrant people and places, but forgets to write compelling central characters or a compelling central plot. What could have been a decent 75 minute film ends up being a disastrous 2 hour and 15 minute endeavor.

Synopsis. Five children save the life of a dog-like alien while at a self-run summer camp. He attempts to reward them by taking them to an alien colony on the Moon. Events take a turn for the worse when his report on that attack that injured him causes passage from the Moon to the Earth to be banned, and children are stranded in space.
