The demographics of the state say it all. 85% of the population is white. The remaining 15% is divided between Black, Hispanic, and two or more races.
In Nebraska, incorporated areas are classified as either cities or villages based on their population counts. Cities must have a population of at least 800 people to be designated as such. Villages only need to have between 100 and 800 inhabitants. There is a total of 57 cities in the state of Nebraska.
