23 de jun. de 2012 · Scrap Brain Zone Sonic 1 (MS/GG) Labyrinth Zone is a network of underwater tunnels and ancient ruins. The major danger in this level is not badniks or spikes, but the underwater sections. Sonic is not a proficient swimmer, meaning if he stays underwater long enough, he will drown. It is often considered to be the hardest level in the game.
7 de sept. de 2020 · On The Level: Why Sonic The Hedgehog's Labyrinth Zone Still Gives Me Nightmares. The argument over what is more important – gameplay or graphics – is always one that has baffled me. The games that stay with us for life, alongside the current demand for remastered titles, should be all the evidence we need to know that gameplay wins every time.
Labyrinth Zone is a ruin-like maze partially submerged in water, the decaying remnants of an ancient civilization. The area is located within the caves of South Island 's prominent mountain range (see image).It features many spikes and water-driven contraptions, although, despite the Doctor's efforts, Sonic's greatest hazard in this zone is not the enemies or the traps, but the water.

3 de abr. de 2023 · But then you get stuff like Labyrinth Zone and even Marble Zone to a degree (though I do have nostalgia for that one) and you can really see they hadn't figured out exactly what makes Sonic work yet. The only reason Labyrinth Zone doesn't kill the entire game for me is because you can learn shortcuts that cut out like 80% of the levels.
