Ken Lockie is an English singer-songwriter and producer, best known as the creative force behind English new wave band Cowboys International and as a sometime collaborator with John Lydon in Public Image Ltd.
A keyboard player with Cowboys International, Ken Lockie was recording his first Virgin album (The Impossible) when Simple Minds signed to the label. After being played backing tracks of his work, the band were impressed with the sound, and hired its producer Steve Hillage to work on their next album (which would turn out to be Sons And Fascination.).
