SENIOR SCHOOL CURRICULUM. In Years 7 to 9 pupils follow a broad based curriculum and study 25 one hour lessons during the course of each week. These include 4 hours of English, 4 hours of Mathematics, 3 hours of Science, with additional 1 and 2 hour lessons for other subjects. Rossall offers students the chance to enjoy half a term (during the final term of the school year only.) Specialist programmes are followed alongside British curriculum integration during the time for students to get a feel for Rossall life during the summer months whilst British pupils are on campus. When presenting our results, we make no distinction between those studying within the main School and those studying on the Pre-Sixth Form or Foundation programmes. Consequently, the combined averages for all those who sat GCSE examinations this summer were: 7-9 37%. 6-9 57%. 4-9 93%.
Rossall School is blessed to have so many outstanding performance spaces. In 2018, the state-of-the-art Performing Arts Studio (PAS) was opened.
