During this time the first incarnation of “Alan Parsons Live Project” toured to sell out audiences throughout the globe. Following Alan’s relocation to California in 1999 with his American girlfriend, Lisa, and a divorce from Smokey, his first wife, a brand-new Live Project band was formed in 2003. That same year Lisa and Alan were married.
The Alan Parsons Project was a progressive rock music entity comprised of engineer/ producer Alan Parsons and songwriter, musician and manager Eric Woolfson. They released 10 concept albums between 1976 – 1987 and have sold over 55 million albums world-wide. Alan Parsons (född 20 december 1948 i London [ 1]) var assisterande tekniker på The Beatles album Abbey Road, och under inspelningen av the Beatles takkonsert. Under tidigt 1970-tal arbetade han som tekniker på flera av Paul McCartneys album. Störst uppmärksamhet fick han för sitt arbete med Pink Floyds The Dark Side of the Moon.
