Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU or Seongdae, Korean: 성균관대학교; Hanja: 成均館大學校) is a private research university with campuses in Seoul and Suwon, South Korea. The institution traces its origins to the historic Sungkyunkwan founded in 1398 in central Seoul.
It provides democratic education based on research and Confucianism and in-depth academic theories and teaches how to apply them. The college is focused on meeting the ideal image of a university with cultured students that have excellent abilities.
Universidad Sungkyunkwan ("SKKU" o Seongdae) es una universidad de investigación privada con sedes en Seúl y Suwon. Originalmente, fue fundada en 1398 por la dinastía Joseon situado en el corazón del centro de Seúl.
