I like them all, but as far as rock-solid playing, well-written, catchy songs, energy, clever and witty lyrics, and super-slick production, The Completion Backward Principal is their top of the line. Their best overall set of songs. This was their big step into the 1980's mainstream rock/pop scene.
After returning to the U.S., they recruited producer Todd Rundgren and recorded 1979's Remote Control, a concept album exploring the influence of television.
