Fogerty felt that he should own the masters to songs he wrote, but a restrictive contract took away that privilege. Valid for all 1980s John Fogerty releases: Due to contractual reasons the Bellaphon editions were made for exclusive distribution in Germany, Austria & Switzerland while R/S Alsdorf manufactured Warner Bros. Records editions were distributed to other European countries.
