Big fan of The Kinks but this album just seem like they lost a lot of inspiration for creativity in sound and melodies. Lots of goofy songs aswell with repetitive choruses. This saddly gets a down for me. Purchasing Think Visual from Amazon helps support Album of the Year.

Ray Davies does continue to mine very familiar lyrical territory throughout the album. He attacks the record industry on "Working At The Factory", sends up big business corporations on the title track, comments on getting stuck in a day-to-day rut on "Repetition", and looks back on the 'good old days' on ...
