Clyde Stubblefield était un très grand batteur de la musique funk. Né en 1943 dans le Tennessee, il meurt en février 2017 à l’âge de 73 ans. Il est principalement connu pour avoir été le batteur de James Brown. Batteur autodidacte, il apprend enfant les rudiments du piano puis se mettra aux percussions.
