Principalement connu comme chanteur, guitariste et principal auteur-compositeur du groupe new wave The Cars , il enregistre également plusieurs albums en solo et produit d'autres artistes comme Weezer , Suicide , Bad Brains , Bad Religion ou Nada Surf .
