21 de feb. de 2022 · After five long years apart THE COAL PORTERS, inventors of ‘alt-bluegrass’, are climbing back in the saddle to perform concerts in April. Led by ex-Long Ryder Sid Griffin and co-helmed by Neil Bob Herd, the Coal Porters are going out as a six piece with longtime stalwarts Andrew Stafford on doghouse bass and Paul Fitzgerald on banjo.
Porter in the 1930s. Cole Albert Porter (June 9, 1891 – October 15, 1964) was an American composer and songwriter. Many of his songs became standards noted for their witty, urbane lyrics, and many of his scores found success on Broadway and in Hollywood films.. Born to a wealthy family in Indiana, Porter defied his grandfather's wishes for him to practice law and took up music as a profession.
