Snow Patrol is een Noord-Ierse/Schotse alternatieve-rockband, bestaande uit voorman Gary Lightbody (zanger, songwriter en gitarist), Johnny McDaid (bassist en achtergrondzang, gitarist, toetsenist) en Nathan Connolly (gitaar en achtergrondzang). Vanaf september 2023 gaat de band door als trio zonder Quinn en Wilson. Oorspronkelijk opgezet in Dundee, werkt de band nu vanuit Glasgow.

Snow Patrol（雪地巡游者） 成立于苏格兰，是被格莱美奖提名的另类摇滚乐队。他们成员大半来自北爱尔兰当县（County Down）的班戈镇。他们以苏格兰第二大城市格拉斯哥为根据地，并签约公司Polydor Records。最初Snow Patrol只是一队独立摇滚乐队，但因为Run、 Chasing Cars等等歌曲成功成为主流音乐的一份子。
Snow Patrol es una banda de rock originaria de Escocia. El grupo se formó en 1994 en Dundee por el vocalista y guitarrista Gary Lightbody, y por el bajista y teclista Mark McClelland, dos estudiantes de Irlanda del Norte que se encontraban estudiando en la universidad de la ciudad. Más tarde el batería John Quinn se agregaría a la formación.
