Goed aan First Knight is het rijke camerawerk van Adam Greenberg (The Terminator, Terminator 2) en dat er tijd verleend wordt aan de acteurs om hun karakters body te geven. Minder is het om de legendarische Sir Lancelot aan karate te zien doen; zo absurd dat gedachtes onbedoeld uitgaan naar andere projecten van Zucker, zoals Airplane! en de Naked Gun-reeks.
