In January 2021, Vincent and writing partner Sally Lindsay were commissioned by Channel 5 and Acorn TV to write a 6-part television thriller series. The series, The Madame Blanc Mysteries (originally titled The Reluctant Madame Blanc), was directed by Dermot Boyd and Vincent also co-starred.
The Madame Blanc Mysteries is a cosy crime comedy drama television series, produced by Saffron Cherry Productions, which is broadcast on Channel 5 and Acorn TV.The series, written by and starring Sally Lindsay and Sue Vincent, concerns a Cheshire antiques dealer, Jean White, who helps solve an array of mysteries and deaths in the fictional village of Sainte Victoire in the South of France.
Sally Lindsay's earliest roles included guest-starring appearances on British television, which led to one of her best-known parts: that of Shelley Unwin on the long-running soap "Coronation Street." During her run on the show--lasting from 2001 to 2006--the character became a fan favorite.
