He is known for his roles as General Maximilian Veers in The Empire Strikes Back , Aristotle Kristatos in the James Bond movie For Your Eyes Only , Walter Donovan in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade , Brian Harcourt-Smith in The Fourth Protocol , and Grand Maester Pycelle in Game of Thrones .
