Danny McCulloch’s first solo album after leaving the Animals is a lovely slab of orchestrated baroque pastoral flavoured pop/psych songs (think Sgt Peppers or Nirvana's The Story of Simon Simopath) augmented by his tuneful Joe Cocker-like gruff vocals & Vic Briggs intelligent & sympathetic arrangements & production.
