Marshall boarding house is named after John Marshall who was involved in founding Benenden School in 1924. Alfred joined Benenden in 2007 as Head of Philosophy and Religion. Since then he has held a range of leadership roles across the School, including a ten year spell as Housemaster of Beeches. Alfred has been in charge of Benenden’s Partnerships and launched the highly successful volunteer programme.
