This is a brand new version of The Town I Loved So Well which I recorded in the Guildhall in Derry as part of a tribute to the great John Hume which aired from Washington D.C. on Saint Patricks Day. I love how the images of the city follow the narrative of the lyrics and showcase the ‘Bright Brand New Day’ that we all prayed for, with everything from the Peace Bridge to the Derry Girls mural.
