I spoke with Kristof Hahn for like 15 minutes. We spoke about his lap steel tuning, and concert volume levels. You could tell he was quite experienced. Very nice and smart dude. We just spoke to Michael Gira when the concert was over, but he was still onstage because he was packing his gear down, so we only spoke for like 20 seconds.

I was gonna go see Kristof Hahn in a London bar on Sunday. Curious as to what he plays live. Anyone seen him before? Any chance of some swans bits?
31 de ago. de 2021 · Kristof Hahn is probably best know for his lapsteel guitar work in SWANS, one of the more ferocious, terrifying and intriguing outfits in the modern era. He joined the band in 1989, left in 1992, joined SWANS’ bandleader Michael Gira’s follow-up project Angels of Light in 1998 and became a constant member of the SWANS relaunch from 2010 until 2017.
