BEST ALBUM by the Specials in my opinion - much better than the first one which was fun and mildly political but mostly dance oriented. This one is much darker and moodier, more intelligent and more adventurously musical in my opinion.

16 de mar. de 2013 · I was intrigued enough to give the Specials a proper listen after reading about them in 'Rip it Up and Start Again' by Simon Reynolds, but unfortunately I couldn't finish their debut album; it just sounded a bit too old-fashioned and far too sonically plain for me.
