1 de ene. de 1992 · Doctor Who: Nightshade by Mark Gatiss was an incredibly dark adventure with a most beloved character (in a version I'm entirely unfamiliar with) and his companion (again I have no history with Ace). Centered around a small village, The Doctor and Ace are up against a foe that is ruthless in its carnage and hunger.
Fantasy. Horror. Sci-fi. Doctor Who. Nightshade was a British science fiction television series broadcast by the BBC from 1953 to 1958. The series starred Edmund Trevithick as the titular Professor Nightshade and was rebroadcast on BBC Two in December 1968, shortly before Trevithick's death in Crook Marsham.
The Doctor and Ace arrive on the scene - but, with the Doctor planning his retirement, it may be time for Professor Nightshade to solve one last case. Originally released April 2016, based on the original 1992 New Adventures novel by Mark Gatiss.
Nightshade is a great Doctor Who story that focusses more on its main characters than it does on its monsters; which is in no way a bad thing. 9.5/10. Gallifrey Archive. A gripping movie length tale – different from but equally valid to the original. 9/10. Sci-Fi Bulletin.
Recap /. Doctor Who New Adventures Nightshade. Memory and nostalgia has been something the Doctor rarely thinks about. However, when he lands in Crook Marsham in the late 60's, he and Ace discover that the town is being terrorised by an unknown force, as the citizens have been falling prey to their old memories.
