It was all fixed that I'd go down there and just do a bit, so we went down and played and I just did some backing tracks to numbers like "Good Golly Miss Molly" and "Roll Over Beethoven."

Since then, more than a few artists have managed to take raw and sloppy recordings and turn them into platinum-selling albums. It’s just a shame that Lord Sutch – who died in 1999 at the age of 58 – came around too early to be one of them.
