Your Ray needs to be set up using the Sonos app before it can play TV audio. Note that Sonos Ray is not compatible with the Sonos S1 Controller app. Place Ray in your desired location and connect it to power. Keep the included optical cable nearby. The Sonos app will guide you on connecting Ray to the optical audio port on your TV.
