The Style Council – Café Bleu. ... I've tried three copies-- all suffered from sibilance, visible vinyl damage on side one track two, and surface noise that would not clean up. Such a great album. It sure deserved better.
I bought Cafe Bleu as a teenager in the 80s because I was such a fan of The Style Council's music. From the minute that I played it on my turn table (yes, I had it on vinyl before buying the CD) I have never had it out of my musical rotation.I have played it during cocktail parties, reading the Sunday paper and during simple dinners at home.
