Sydney Boys High School is located on the CBD and South-Eastern Light Rail routes L2 and L3 with the Moore Park stop just across Anzac Parade from the school, accessible by pedestrian bridge. Regularly timetabled trams run every four minutes plus additional shuttle services are run between Central and Moore Park to coincide with the start and end of the school day.
Subject Choices. In Years 7 and 8 students at Sydney Boys High School have a limited choice of which LOTE (Languages other than English) subjects they will partake in. Going into years 9, 10 and 11, however, students have large choices to make: For Year 9, students must select two elective subjects to study for the next two years.
