Stuart Fergusson Victor Sutcliffe (* 23.Juni 1940 in Edinburgh, Schottland; † 10. April 1962 in Hamburg) war ein britischer Musiker.Er war kurzzeitig Bassist der Band The Silver Beetles bzw. The Beatles und Maler, dessen Stil sich am abstrakten Expressionismus orientierte. Er und Pete Best gehörten zu denjenigen, die als fünfte Beatles bezeichnet werden und als Musiker in der Band aktiv waren.

The Official Stuart Sutcliffe Estate manages the Stuart Sutcliffe Art and Artefact Collections of Stuart Sutcliffe, the Scottish painter and musician who is known as the fifth Beatle (but he was really the fourth). Stuart is credited with naming and styling the Beatles. George Harrison called him their art director. He was the original bass guitarist at Johns prmpting and John Lennons best friend.
